Another couple videos to add to my list of odd stuff on Youtube. Catchy beat. Oh and there's multiple other language versions. Itsi bitsi bikini.

Matt is still dancing around the world. Must see 2:11.

T.I. Obama spoof.

This music video was worth watching, even if some of the lyrics do need some refinement.

My Friday did not start out as planned, but that's over and done now. I did hang out with some friends after work, went to dinner at Red Lobster and watched 007 Quantum of Solace here at my apartment.

There is a hip-hop remix called "I Run" (original "I Ran" by A Flock of Seagulls). Thanks Slacker, I was laughing when that song played. Although technically it's not a remix, they just redid part of the chorus.

One of the gems today from reddit. Also, add to the list of things never to do, right after shooting oneself in the foot: don't prick yourself in the finger.

A couple baby clouded leopards were making headlines today.

I'm officially past the 30-day cancellation period for AT&T, so I guess the iPhone stays. Oh darn. The BlackBerry has been sitting in my desk drawer at work with call forwarding enabled. Nobody ever calls me on the work number anyway.

PolurNet still seems to have occasional DNS problems. The other day www.jgillow.com was inaccessible for a while. I can't complain too much because they are still just charging $3.89 a month for the hosting.

Another great episode of "Will it blend?"

I think I am going to be leaving the Berkshires in May. I've been doing some more thinking about it and I am pretty confident that I would like to move into a house. Prices are good, I have people that can help me move, and there's really nothing too special to keep me here. The location is really close to work but I have found a couple other places that are also close. Or I can save almost $200 a month and get a house in Palm Bay and deal with some traffic. Is it worth $10 per workday to drive further and sit in traffic... probably. I rather like my time in the car anyway. But, there's still 6 weeks to go until May 1st so the availability may change a bit.

I am sick of hearing about twitter on the news lately. Seems like every news reporter wants to show off their newfound verbs "tweet" and "twittered." Now people are saying that Facebook is trying to become twitter. Of course Stephen Colbert took it to a whole new level. Look at that grin.

Most PSA-type commercials aren't very interesting to me, but I felt this one about STDs was pretty good. Hulu still has an unusually high concentration of PSAs shown when watching episodes, but they are starting to attract more advertising partners so the frequency has decreased somewhat.

SNL Taco Town commercial. With commemorative tote bag!

I've been using Slacker on my iPhone. Free streaming Internet radio, works on the PC as well of course. It can even stream in the car on the Edge network (slower than 3G). Also the sound quality is usually better than XM/Sirius.

I did find out the other day that Google Maps on the Edge network is pretty awful. It takes quite a while to load each section of the map, and every time you pan or zoom it has to download them again from the server. The Blackberry I have from HSX uses just the Edge network, but I don't use it for anything besides email. Both devices are set up for push email, and the Blackberry does get them slightly before the iPhone does, I think because the Blackberry Enterprise server has higher priority than the Activesync server that the iPhone uses.

This weekend I've been looking at rental houses on the Brevard MLS. There are a number of really nice houses available for rent, but they are priced in the range that would require me to get a roommate. There are some that are within my 750-900 budget though. A couple around 700 even look ok, but they are down in Palm Bay. I definitely want a garage if I move to a house, so I've been eliminating the options that only have a carport or uncovered parking.

Woz flaunts his stuff on Dancing with the Stars.

Citroen (I'm too lazy to pull up character map to paste the umlaut with two dots above the "e") always has cool commercials. A bit retro on that one but immediately recognizable.

I found an older interview with Gabriel Iglesias.

Star Wars classic art. Of course it just made me realize I haven't seen most classic art.

On Friday night I saw Taken with some friends, and the movie was quite badass. I don't think I fully agree with the 8.0/10 score that it currently holds, but it's definitely in the 7 range.

Harris Stratex officially changed their vacation accrual cap to 160 hours. It doesn't affect me (yet), but some folks at work have to burn some days by July 1st.

I got my lease renewal offer today. The Berkshires wants $766/month to allow me the courtesy of staying another year, $17/month higher than my current rent. While rents are down drastically around Melbourne, and even the Berkshires website puts the 2-bedroom rent rates currently at $394-525. Mine is pretty much the highest priced 2-bedroom, but $525 is a long shot from $766. The best part is that if I go month-to-month, rent is $1063. No typos there, an extra $300/month. A shorter 7-month lease would be an extra $100 a month.

The latest Simpsons episode was the best I've seen in quite a while. Mainly for the extended-length intro, the clip montage of Homer injuring himself, and the insurance company mottos.

I have been enjoying the new iPhone quite a lot. I found out this week that I will be getting a Blackberry for my work cell phone, so that's going to be interesting having both devices.

Adam and Tammy are going to see Billy Joel and Elton John in concert this weekend in NC so I will be pet sitting their cat.
